An agent can help write an email integration, inspect setup or operate account tools. These are different levels of access. Installing instructions for a coding assistant should not be confused with authorising it to send mail from your account.
Skills explain how to integrate
Sendar's portable skills provide guidance for integrating application email, investigating setup and planning migrations. They help a coding agent use the documented contract. Installing a skill does not sign the agent into your Sendar account or create a production sending credential.
Start with the examples and local previews when developing a new workflow. Keep production secrets out of prompts and source files. The application should still validate the event and recipient when the generated code is deployed.
MCP connects account tools
Sendar's remote MCP endpoint supports an authorised connection for tools such as setup inspection, email preview, message history, domains and templates. New OAuth connections default to read-only. Sending is a separate permission that can be bounded by domain, recipients and daily allowance.
Choose the narrowest useful access for the task. An agent inspecting a domain configuration does not need permission to send a message. Existing API keys have their own account permissions; do not assume an OAuth connection's limits automatically apply to every other credential.
Preview is not delivery
The preview tool validates a proposed message without sending or consuming send quota. That helps a person or agent inspect the intended request. It does not establish that the sender domain is ready or that the message will be delivered.
A live send should follow an explicit authorised action and a stable message identity. Inspect the returned status and history. A tool reporting success is not a guarantee that the recipient's primary inbox contains the message.
Describe available capabilities accurately
Use the current integration page to choose a platform setup. Portable plugins and a working custom connection are distinct from approval in a curated marketplace. Sendar's current agent tools focus on outbound application email and account inspection; do not assume they provide a general inbox or unrestricted management of every dashboard action.
