Move a Resend sending workflow to Sendar

Evaluate one transactional workflow with Sendar before moving production traffic.

Request mapping

Resend's basic send example uses from, to, subject and html. Sendar accepts those basic fields at POST https://sendar.app/api/emails with a Sendar Bearer key. Replace the client integration and credentials; verify every additional option separately.

Templates and events

Recreate saved templates in Sendar and map their variables explicitly. Existing provider IDs, event payloads and signing secrets are not portable. Compare logs and webhook handling in a test environment before switching.

When is switching worthwhile?

Compare actual monthly volume, daily peaks, maintenance work and required capabilities. Sendar offers flat capped plans, a REST API, reusable templates and activity logs. A hard cap can stop sending when the allowance is reached; compare that trade-off with your existing plan. We do not assume Sendar is cheaper or better for every workload.

Pilot and rollback

Verify your sending domain without removing records used by existing senders. Send a small controlled workflow, check rendering and event handling, then move traffic gradually. Keep a routing switch back to the old integration. Never send the same production message through both providers.
